Yes, we can. . .

Literally.

We (Cullen and Linnae) are siblings and Vermont Natives. That means we grew up in Vermont. And Vermont is beautiful. Like, real beautiful. It’s a natural landscape of rolling green hills, farmland, lakes, thickets of maple and pine and abounding out-of-doors adventure.

Pretty rad, right? It’s the kind of place one develops a close connection with the natural world. It’s a place where people care where their food comes from and want to support local farmers and businesses. A place where people see the link between this planet we lie on and our food, water, sustenance and survival. It’s the kind of connection that’s spiritual, emotional, romantic… lusty, even.

When we have all these feelings about something, we want to protect it. We want to share it. We want to spread the stoke for generations to come.

In 2021, over a post-ski brainstorm sesh fueled by a few brewskis (we like beer too), we discussed how much single-use plastic was being tossed around and not recycled (especially with bottled water). We also noticed the lengths at which people will go to recycle an aluminum beer can (get that 5 cents, baby!). If you can’t connect the dots here, this is where we got the idea to can water - and that idea became a full-on project.

We decided instead of trying to get people to “do better” at recycling plastic, we’ll help ‘em out. Our goal is to provide the same convenience of a consumable water option in a can. Why? Because aluminum is infinitely recyclable and aluminum recycling facilities are just about everywhere in the good ‘ol U.S. of A because… you know… beer. So, we got to work.

Linnae’s business experience and Cullen’s background in environmental policy and renewable energy launched this passionate brainstorming into reality.
